Should companies outsource sales?

In some cases I think the answer is yes. I work in banking but I don't work in a branch, I work in the corporate offices. My bank doesn't force us to get sales but my boyfriends' bank does. They require 5 new accounts per week. But the salesmen gets the credit not the person that initiates the sale.
