Well according to this story by USA Today, not only is the Mafia not dead - they're actually thriving in New York.
This story is crazy on so many levels. 54 people were arrested. I especially like the part of the article where they call one person John Doe #4. He owns a cement business. Yeah I'm sure it will be really hard for them to figure out who that is! That man is probably headed for witness protection.
These stories amaze me. There are gangs shooting up innocent bystanders and the government is still messing with 70 yeah old "alleged" mobsters.
